Do you know the country that the yoyo was invented in?
Last Thursday, we visited Bethel Bible College in Malinta, Valenzuela and I had the opportunity to ask around 60 students that question. GYMN trainer Rey Dorimon invited GYMN-Asia to host the chapel hour for the graduating students at Bethel Bible College and so 6 trainers and staff assembled in campus on February 19, 2009.
Arriving near 11:00 am at the chapel that was beginning to fill with students, we only had a brief time to set-up the equipment and then Penny led the gathering in singing songs of praise.
Rey then introduced us after which I gave a short trivia quiz on nations in Asia (which included the question above). I did say there was a prize so they were very enthusiastic about it.
After that a video on GYMN-Asia was shown and then Ghie gave a ” tree-point” message…
…while Grace monitored the video projector.
It was also here that Rey’s students received certificates for completing the Level 1 curriculum (he teaches a class that incorporates the Level 1 every year).
We ended with BBC President Dr. Fermin Bercero leading the students in a prayer for GYMN.
Thank you Rey and the GYMN-Asia team for the work at the Bible College.
I loved sharing with the students there as well…I know all of the students will impact many! Keep up the great work.
