The Trainers’ Training is where new trainers are certified, current trainers recommit for another year and our training curriculum is discussed along with the other things we do during GYMN trainings like counseling and mentoring. We also use this opportunity to recognize those trainers who have been faithfully serving God through the trainings that we do.The Trainers’ Training is three days in length, as participants are given a chance to:
1) demonstrate their teaching skills,
2) become familiar with the teaching material,
and 3) talk about situations they may encounter in actual trainings.
Trainers’ Trainings were integrated into GYMN summits before but because of the need to regionalize ownership and create quality trainings, we started to give exclusive time solely to training trainers. In Summits we will only invite trainers who would represent their region or network and other key leaders for evaluation, reporting, visioning, strategizing and planning.
So far we’ve been able to hold three Trainers’ Trainings in strategic cities across the Philippines–in Bicol, in Cagayan de Oro and this one:
