We are Global Youth Ministry Network or GYMN in Asia. GYMN exists to equip youth leaders internationally through the strategy of seminars, seminar follow-up, supplying national trainers and the spreading of trainings worldwide.
This blog aims to provide the following:
Information on GYMN activities in Asia: Our seminars and seminar follow-ups, and on trainers in different nations and on how the training is doing worldwide.
Articles on Youth Ministry Leadership: We also plan to contribute and discuss articles on youth ministry leadership, focusing on those that can be applicable to a wide range of cultures and yet are also bible-centered.
Discussions: We are always looking for ways to improve our seminars, as trainers and participants we hope you could join us by contributing insights in how the training has been of use to you and how it could be improved.
Contributors to this Blog will be Chris Davis, Ghie Qaisar, Hazel Hontiveros, Benette Pena, me and other GYMN staff, trainers and participants at all levels. If you have any suggestions on what could be improved please feel free to contact us.

Greetings in Christ to all GYMN staff, trainers and guests/students. Very nice looking blog site. I might suggest opening up a thread or area for theological discussions or related type of discussion such as, what role and how does culture and Christ centered living play out? What does it mean to be in the world but not of the world? This type of discussion(s) seems to allow for the inclusion of more outsiders to the discussion and site, but it also makes for a little work in monitoring the discussions so that they do not become uncivil. This may or not be something you as a team would like to pursue, if the intent is only to be informative as to the regards of GYMN. God Bless all of you and let your light shine before men for the spreading of the Gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
In Christ Jesus,

Fred, thanks for the suggestion. We’ve been focusing on GYMN seminars so far but I would also like to have posts in the near future on which other folk could discuss ideas and give opinions as well.
Theological topics could certainly be included but youth and youth ministry will have to be somewhere in any discussion, since that’s one subject we want this blog to focus on.
